I recently stayed at a charming converted barn in the English countryside for a relaxing break. The property was of a high standard, with great facilities, cleanliness, and comfort. The location in a quaint village near Bath was perfect, offering a peaceful and scenic atmosphere. The nearby pub, The Stag, and other restaurants provided delicious dining options. The hosts, Toni and Dawn, were friendly and accommodating, ensuring our privacy throughout our stay. Additionally, the breakfast provisions were tasty and greatly appreciated. I highly recommend this wonderful getaway for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in the English countryside.

We got excellent value for our money at the Old Stables. The room was spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. The location was peaceful and we enjoyed relaxing while overlooking the hills and fields. The hosts were warm and welcoming, even going the extra mile to arrange a surprise for my partner's birthday.
The morning meal could have been improved with a better selection of lotions and potions for the shower. However, this was a minor issue compared to the overall great experience we had at the Old Stables.

Great location, very peaceful and quiet. The cleanliness was exceptional and all the fixtures and fittings were of high quality. The bathroom had a powerful walk-in shower and the mirror with lighting on all sides added extra illumination. The hosts were unobtrusive and the self-catering aspect was convenient.
Finding the entrance was a bit tricky, but Google Maps helped.

Lovely countryside surroundings with plenty of walking trails nearby. Easy access to a nearby city for some cultural exploration. the breakfast provisions provided were delicious and the host was friendly and accommodating.
The lack of mobile phone coverage and weak Wi-Fi connection was frustrating. the lack of privacy due to the property's proximity to the owner's house made us feel uncomfortable.

Two amenities stood out during our stay: the well-appointed kitchenette and the comfortable and beautifully decorated accommodation. Key location facts: the property was located in a beautiful area, allowing guests to enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding hills and fields. the peaceful setting added to the relaxing atmosphere. - the host was incredibly helpful and attentive, ensuring that our stay was enjoyable and providing excellent communication throughout.
One major drawback was the narrow and steep driveway leading to the property. It was quite challenging to navigate, especially for larger vehicles.
